30 years of paving the way for new homes marketing
Founded in 1996, MMS comes from modest beginnings, and the business has grown in a steady, controlled and completely organic way since. It all started from a home-based office (pioneers of 'working from home' long before today’s norm of hybrid-working!) by husband-and-wife team Glen and Louise Mitton after Glen’s extensive earlier career in the housebuilding industry.
Step forward 30 years to 2026, and we’re an ever-growing team, now led by their daughter Danielle Mitton in her capacity as managing director alongside company director, Curtis Scarlett. As the world of new homes marketing has evolved, so have we. What was once print ads and direct mail is now heavily focused on digital – user-first websites, tailored SEO strategies, standout social and strong PPC advertising.
Recognising the business couldn’t do this without its most valuable asset, our team we recently introduced the MMS 10-Year Club to celebrate their commitment and dedication - and we’re already seven members strong!
Work to be proud of
Our client base by any standards is impressive and reads like a who's who of the housebuilding industry.
It is especially satisfying that we continue to work with Vistry and their three housebuilder brands, a partnership with MMS that spans over 25 years, forged when we took Linden Homes online back in 1998! Most recently we were tasked with helping them roll out their brand refresh project. Armed with new colourways, fonts and brand propositions we refreshed each website in line with its new brand identity, delivering a more relevant, user-focused experience designed to better connect with their target audiences.
Our long-standing relationship with Jelson Homes stretches nearly 25 years and is still going strong. This year, we launched a brand-new website, lifted their social media with a dedicated content creation shoot and continue to support their digital and print advertising with creative campaign messaging.
We’re also proud to continue our work with Crest Nicholson, and this year we’ve further developed their online presence with the launch of a brand-new website UX to help in the elevation of their brand positioning.
In fact, the past year has been jam-packed with new homes websites, with launches for Baker Estates, Lancet Homes and Shanly Homes. Each of these websites benefits from a two-way integration that directly connects the website, property portals and CRM system, ContactBuilder, meaning a single point of data entry allowing for quicker, more accurate processes.
We’ve been staying ahead of the curve when it comes to evolving AI search, embracing Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) to ensure our clients remain visible and competitive in today’s changing search landscape. We’ve also been delighted to welcome Dandara and Gleeson Homes on this journey, working together to navigate these changes and make the most of the opportunities they bring.
Most recently, we have welcomed new clients Allison Homes, Deanfield Homes and Elan Homes and we’re looking forward to showing you what we’ve been working on behind the scenes.

It’s celebrations all around for MMS, as it’s not only our 30th birthday – three of our team members Charlie Lem, Charlotte Gutteridge and Joe Geldart also turn 30 this year! Stay tuned to see how we celebrate.
After 30 years in the property marketing industry, we have seen many ups and downs. Notably working through unprecedented Covid times, the infamous mini-Budget of the Truss ministry and the more recent geo-political actions, all which caused uncertainty in mortgage rates and lending. Throughout it all, we have been with our clients every step of the way.
