When you’re a premium regional housebuilder like Sigma Homes you want (and need) your website to stand out from the crowd. Potential buyers have high expectations, expectations that must be met for marketing endeavours and for the homes they purchase. They want to be wowed.
No longer satisfied with a site that made their brand look like ‘just another housebuilder’ and simply did not do their homes justice, it was time for a refresh. With our redesign, we’ve upped the ante and created a sophisticated and visually satisfying customer journey while communicating the ethos of Sigma Homes.
Adding the ‘wow’ factor
Right off the bat you’ll see that visuals are prevalent and used to encourage visitors through their customer journey. Static images are the client’s mainstay with added video functionality built-in. The large imagery and sophisticated font choice and colour palette evoke the feel of a premium brochure.
Designing the journey
We designed this refresh with an intuitive user interface (UI) allowing visitors to navigate and explore the website, developments and homes in an organic way. There is no getting lost or stuck in a loop.
Every customer’s journey leads to registering their details with clear and concise calls to actions and an attractive and easy to fill out interest form.
With the live redesign in Q3 of 2018 we’ve seen some phenomenal changes in visitor behaviour. Comparing to the same 2017 period the bounce rate has been lowered 32.13% site wide. The number of pages per session have increased 36.07%, leading to the average session duration increasing 98.56%. A phenomenal change for this housebuilder.
